nice to meet you

I was born in Fairfax, VA on 11/25/1992 and moved around a lot growing up. I became a pro at being the new kid. I am very close with my family and have a younger brother (Jack) and an older sister (Jordan) and they are my best friends. I also have a little sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters named Lolita and she is my little QUEEN. We’ve been a solid match for almost 7 years and I cannot believe this program was able to slam dunk our compatibility so well. Our personalities are so similar and our bond will absolutely last forever. She’s stuck with me.

When I was younger, I was always the baby drawing on the walls, the kid flipping on the trampoline, and the pre-teen directing and editing countless skits & home movies with my friends that I still die inside looking back on. Between 2014-2020, I was an events manager for a locally owned restaurant/event space in KC which gave me the privilege of meeting and working with all kinds of talented and artistic vendors. Working in the events world gave me so much inspiration to get into filmmaking and really was my jumpstart into it all. I started creating promotional videos for my employer and putting together edits for our wedding groups and from there, Ribbons & Reels was born. I have always emphasized the importance of picking something to do or work on, sticking to it, and letting the journey take it from there. That mindset has been a staple in getting me where I'm supposed to go. I am so grateful for this little creative outlet of mine and cannot wait to see where it takes me in the future.
